- Ghemme/Gattinara (DOCG) In the Novara area: the king of vines is Nebbiolo, which produces red wines of exceptional expression, aged for long periods in barrels of various sizes.
- La Franciacorta (DOCG) Situated to the south of Lake Iseo, it is famous for its sparkling wines made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Erbamat using the 'traditional method', earning it the nickname 'Italy's Champagne'.
- Lugana (DOC) Located between the Lombardy and Veneto regions, it produces white wines made from the indigenous Turbiana grape variety (Trebbiano di Lugana), renowned for its fruity and citrus notes with a hint of tropical fruit.
- Valtènesi Chiaretto (DOC) On the western shore of Lake Garda: the Mediterranean climate produces some of Italy's best rosés, celebrated as "la vie en rose", made from the indigenous Gropello grape variety and blended with Barbera, Marzemino and Sangiovese.
- Moscato di Scanzo (DOCG): The smallest DOCG in Italy, located near Scanzorosciate in the province of Bergamo. It is a meditative red raisin wine, elegant and incredibly complex, a true aristocrat obtained from the aromatic grape of the same name.
- Derthona Timorasso (DOC), near Tortona (AL): a white grape variety rediscovered after centuries of oblivion thanks to Walter Massa. It is considered to be one of the best Italian white wines, not only for its structure and minerality, but also for its finesse and longevity.
