The latest proposal by Milano Wine Affair customises a format that has long been established abroad, but is still little known in Italy: the 'Wine Casino Game' for corporate events and gala dinners. It is a true 'blind tasting game' that traces the game of roulette and tells the stories of Italian wine.
The Wine Casino Game is the new creative idea for corporate events and gala dinners that focus on an original, engaging and at the same time cultural entertainment proposal. A format with an international flavour that is still almost unknown in our country and that the Milanese project of Cornelia G. Hassmüller has decided to decline in an all-Italian version.
What is the Wine Casino Game?
It is in effect a blind tasting game set in the casino world. Around a roulette table, eight to twelve people can sit, who, guided by a sommelier-croupier, perform a blind tasting towards the discovery of a specific wine and answer questions by betting their chips.
A fully fledged 'blind tasting'
Aromas, scents, sugars, alcohol, tannins, acidity, ageing, vine variety, vintages and more: the wine is gradually stripped away through the game, where at each hand instead of betting on the numbers you bet on the answer deemed correct.
A game for 'made in Italy' wine
The characteristic feature of the Milan Wine Casino Game is that it is a game to all intents and purposes 'made in Italy': whether white or red grape varieties, those proposed are always Italian, indigenous or international varieties - such as chardonnay, pinot noir, sauvignon - now successfully cultivated in our regional territories.
Entertainment, culture and wine know-how
Suitable for big corporate events and gala dinners, the Wine Casino Game involves between 8 and 12 people at a time, the equivalent of a table. It can therefore be played by each group of diners in turn, who move from the table to the gaming table all together. Even abstainers can participate, just using their noses and eyes.
